CHURCHES DURING THE SECOND LOCKDOWN
CHURCHES ARE OPEN FOR PRIVATE PRAYER
St James’, East Cowes, will be open from 9.30-11.30am on Wednesday mornings, and Sunday mornings.
St Mildred’s, Whippingham, will be open from 2.00-4.00pm on Mondays –
Thursdays, and Sundays from 11.00-12.00pm.

Additionally, a daily prayer room will be open at St James’ church hall from 9.00-
5.00pm. For this, booking is essential in one hour slots, to ensure that only one
person is there at any time. (Exceptionally, one extra person is permitted, e.g. where
the user is disabled and requires assistance). A mobile phone is available for
emergency use only. You are asked to follow the health and safety notices for advice
on sanitising as you use the resources.
